It is mentioned in the book of Psalms Chapter 110 No. 1
The Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand so that I will put your enemies on a foothold for your feet
The Lord said to my Lord, sit down to my right
What I want to focus on is explaining who is meant for my Lord
Let's read in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 22
while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them
he said, ' What do you think of Christ?' Who's son is They said to him: Son of David
he said to them, " how can David call him Lord in the spirit?" Saying
the Lord said to my Lord, " sit at my right hand so that I may put your enemies on your feet
if David calls him Lord, how can he be his son
no one could answer him with a word. And from that day no one dared to ask him a bit
From reading the Gospel of Matthew we know that the Jews believed that the person meant by him was the Messiah
But when we read in the interpretation of Rabbi Rashi that the person meant by Abraham, as in the reference below
Our rabbis interpreted it as a reference to Abraham our father, and I will explain it according to their words (Psalm 110: 1): the word of the Lord is to Abraham, whom the world has called my master
Answer Rabbi Rashi lived in the 12th century and interpreted it from modern Jewish interpretations
Many of the texts of the Old Testament have been interpreted differently from the old interpretations
The question is, Are there any ancient interpretations that explain that the person in question is the Messiah
The answer is yes there is an ancient interpretation found in the Midrash that the person sitting at the right hand of the Lord is Christ and the reference is below
